The Opportunity:

Are you a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to financial leadership? We’re seeking a Manager, FP&A to lead budgeting, reporting, and financial decision support in a fast-paced, evolving environment. This role offers the opportunity to build and mentor a growing team while driving data-driven insights and operational excellence across the organization.


Role Overview:

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Manager, FP&A will oversee all core planning and reporting processes, supervise a small team of Senior Financial Analysts, and play a critical role in partnering with business leaders to support financial performance and strategic growth. You’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting while contributing to systems and process improvements, including automation and NetSuite implementation.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead full-cycle budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly reporting
  • Review consolidated financial results and provide variance, revenue, and margin analysis
  • Support month-end close: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and consolidations
  • Oversee restricted fund accounting and financial modeling to support decision-making
  • Partner with department leads to conduct budget reviews and performance discussions
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team (currently two Senior Financial Analysts)
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and automate workflows
  • Contribute to strategic tools such as cost allocations and pricing models
  • Support ongoing financial system enhancements (e.g., NetSuite, MS D365)


What We Need From You:

  • CPA designation (firm-trained strongly preferred)
  • 6+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally including leadership in FP&A
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting skills
  • Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, and month-end close
  • Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level or higher)
  • Experience with MS Dynamics 365 and/or NetSuite is a strong asset
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is a plus
  • Collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and team development
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to deliver actionable financial insights
