Location: Remote (GTA-based candidates only – future hybrid work in West End preferred)
Contract: 6 months, with possibility of extension
Compensation: $55-$65/hour
Overview:
Our client, a newly independent energy business, is seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to help establish foundational treasury operations following a carve-out transaction. This is an exciting opportunity to build the treasury function from the ground up in a dynamic, evolving environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage day-to-day banking operations, including relationships with domestic and international banks
- Oversee cash balances and liquidity across multiple USD and GBP bank accounts
- Coordinate intercompany cash movements and capital disbursements
- Ensure compliance with debt covenants and support related financial reporting
- Collaborate closely with accounting, finance, legal, and senior leadership
- Provide treasury input into NetSuite ERP and ensure timely reporting
- Assess evolving treasury requirements and help define best practices
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 3–4 years of treasury management or similar experience with a track record of operating independently
- Strong working knowledge of cash management, payments processing, and debt compliance
- Proficient in NetSuite or other ERP systems
- Comfortable working in a start-up/transition environment where processes are still being established
- Resides in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), ideally in the West End, with flexibility to work onsite 1–2 days per week in future
