As a Research Associate, you will play a key role in sourcing, engaging, and assessing top talent to support successful placements. What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Executive Search Recruitment, you will play a key role in the development and execution of sourcing strategies anchored by a structured, methodical approach. Your work will span market mapping, candidate research, talent engagement, and operational support, ensuring each search is executed with precision and excellence.
Market Mapping & Research
- Create and maintain targeted company lists, producing robust name-generation pipelines based on client criteria.
- Conduct in-depth research on job roles, industry sectors, competitor intelligence, and talent trends using multiple data sources.
- Leverage tools such as LinkedIn, Crunchbase, and ZoomInfo, along with Boolean search techniques, to identify and engage top talent.
Candidate Sourcing & Assessment
- Implement comprehensive search strategies to generate qualified candidates through innovative research and standard sourcing tools.
- Review inbound applicants for alignment with client needs, shortlisting high-potential candidates for the recruitment team.
Candidate Packaging & Presentation
- Prepare candidate shortlist packages, including:
- Detailed candidate reports summarizing fit, competencies, scope, and cultural alignment
- Recruitment metrics, market data, and competitor insights
- Professionally formatted résumés and candidate pitch write-ups
Process Coordination
- Coordinate internal and external interviews between candidates and clients, ensuring seamless scheduling and communication.
- At the offer stage, conduct reference checks and assist with background verification for selected candidates.
What You’ll Need
- 1–2 years of experience in a recruitment support role, ideally within an executive search environment.
- Proven track record in market mapping and talent sourcing.
- Strong understanding of Boolean search techniques.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with ease.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and LinkedIn Recruiter (or equivalent sourcing tools).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations.
- A positive, competitive, and team-oriented mindset.
Success Milestones
Within 6 Months – Build Your Foundation
- Gain a deep understanding of Clarity’s business, values, and client expectations.
- Foster trust and partnerships with key internal stakeholders, securing buy-in through effective support and research delivery.
- Create and deliver targeted, high-impact market maps that directly contribute to client deliverables.
Within 12 Months – Establish Yourself as a Go-To Resource
- Serve as the primary resource for research, market intelligence, and analytics within the Executive Search function.
- Anticipate hiring needs by applying industry knowledge and monitoring talent trends.
- Partner closely with sales, search, and senior management to align research efforts with strategic business goals.
