The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Accountant to join the Canadian finance team in a high-growth, operationally complex environment. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with visibility across the organization and a clear path toward future leadership opportunities. The successful candidate will lead key aspects of financial reporting, consolidation, and audit preparation, while also contributing to technical accounting research and internal controls.



What You Will Be Doing

  • Prepare complex journal entries and reconciliations, with a focus on inventory, fixed assets, debt, and equity
  • Lead the external audit process, acting as the primary point of contact and preparing audit-ready working papers
  • Conduct technical accounting research and ensure compliance with ASPE
  • Manage consolidation processes and intercompany transfer pricing transactions
  • Support internal control practices and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Assist with Canadian sales tax filings (GST/HST/QST) and support the SRED claim process


What We Need From You

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a high-volume or operational industry such as manufacturing, construction, or supply chain
  • CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of ASPE and demonstrated experience preparing for and supporting external audits
  • Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and lead accounting for multi-entity operations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
