Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $105,000

The Opportunity

In this role, you'll support financial reporting, month-end close, audit prep, and identify opportunities to streamline processes. You bring curiosity, initiative, and a process mindset, always looking for ways to make things run more efficiently. The ideal candidate is a CPA-designated professional with strong technical accounting skills and hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
• Maintain the accuracy and compliance of key balance sheet and P&L accounts
• Support external/internal audit processes
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules, ensuring proper capitalization and accounting treatment
• Collaborate with site controllers and operations teams to validate and interpret financial results across multiple jurisdictions
• Support regulatory filings, tax submissions (including HST), and compliance with internal control frameworks
• Identify opportunities to streamline close and reporting processes, enhance automation, and improve accuracy

Qualifications & Experience

• CPA designation (or near completion) required
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting, including reconciliations, intercompany, FX, and fixed assets
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and audit preparation is an asset
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
• System savvy with the ability to pick up new technology quickly
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both finance and operational stakeholders
