About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Consultant to assess and improve financial processes within a large, multinational organization. This role will focus on corporate accounting, identifying inefficiencies, optimizing SAP ECC, and driving automation to streamline operations. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Finance, you will work cross-functionally to implement best practices, enhance controls, and eliminate redundancies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify manual processes and implement automation solutions within SAP.
• Leverage SAP ECC to improve reporting, reduce redundancies, and enhance efficiency.
• Assess and streamline intercompany reconciliations, billing, and purchase order setups.
• Improve fixed asset management, move away from Excel-based depreciation, and implement proper sub-ledger usage.
• Work with finance, IT, and leadership to drive meaningful change while managing resistance.
• Review and document existing processes, recommend improvements, and establish stronger financial controls.

Qualifications:

• Experienced Controller with a background in large public companies or multinational environments.
• Hands-on expertise in month-end close, multi-currency accounting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in SAP ECC with a strong understanding of system optimization and automation.
• Project management experience, with the ability to lead process improvement initiatives.
• Excellent documentation skills to clearly outline workflows and procedural changes.
• Strong change management abilities; can navigate resistance and drive adoption of new processes.
