The Opportunity:
We’re hiring a skilled Data Analyst for a 4-month contract to support an influential organization in the healthcare space. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights that inform high-impact negotiations and strategic proposals. What You’ll Be Doing:
In this role, you’ll work closely with a collaborative internal team to:
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to healthcare services and workforce trends
- Conduct evidence reviews and translate findings into accessible, visually compelling deliverables
- Support contract negotiations by providing clear, data-backed insights and visualizations
- Build dashboards, reports, and forecasting tools using Excel, SQL, Python or R
- Enhance data collection workflows and ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity
- Present technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, meaningful way
Deliverables Include:
- Monthly progress reports and visual dashboards
- Data summaries to support negotiations and written proposals
- A final report synthesizing key trends and recommendations
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, ideally in healthcare, public policy, or non-profit settings
- Proficiency in data tools like Excel, SQL, Python, or R
- Strong communication skills and the ability to distill complex findings into clear insights
- Experience supporting contract negotiations or proposals is an asset
- Familiarity with British Columbia’s healthcare landscape is a bonus but not required
