Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll act as a key business partner to senior leadership, driving financial accountability and helping shape the future of a purpose-led energy company.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a strategic finance leader who thrives in transformation, values autonomy, and wants to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the renewable energy sector.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own consolidated budgeting and forecasting (P&L, cash flow, capex, expenses, margins)
  • Lead long-term strategic planning, scenario modelling, and profitability analysis
  • Build robust financial models to support capital planning, fundraising, and performance reviews
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (investments, operations, systems) to integrate forecasting across the business
  • Support systems implementation, including Procore and NetSuite forecasting integrations
  • Embed a culture of financial discipline by challenging assumptions and aligning forecasts with actuals
  • Provide actionable insights to guide executive and board-level decision-making

What You Bring

  • CPA designation and Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

  • Experience in the energy or renewables industry
  • Treasury knowledge with exposure to capex planning and investment strategy
  • Proven ability to operate autonomously and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and a confident, transparent approach to stakeholder engagement

Success Looks Like...

At 3 Months:

  • You’ve built relationships across the organization and consolidated existing forecasting inputs
  • You’ve established an FP&A calendar and begun bringing consistency to planning cycles

At 1 Year:

  • You own and deliver consolidated forecasts used by the board and executive team
  • You drive strategy through insights, financial modelling, and scenario analysis
  • You’ve influenced planning processes across teams and become a go-to partner for decision-making

Why Join

  • Competitive salary + bonus
  • Generous vacation and hybrid work flexibility
  • Paid CPA dues, RRSP contribution, cell phone allowance
  • Health and wellness fund + comprehensive benefits
  • Opportunity to help lead the financial transformation of a purpose-driven energy organization
