Salary: $85-105,000


The Opportunity:

We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage accurate and timely payroll and benefits processing across Canadian provinces and U.S. states. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance, optimizing systems, and supporting internal teams with payroll, benefits, and reporting expertise.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Administer end-to-end payroll and benefits for salaried and hourly staff across Canada and the U.S.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial, federal, and U.S. state regulations, as well as collective agreements
  • Maintain and reconcile payroll records, benefits data, and journal entries; support audits and year-end reporting
  • Coordinate benefits enrollment, changes, and remittances (RRSPs, 401k, etc.)
  • Act as a point of contact for payroll inquiries and discrepancies
  • Lead reporting; maintain payroll manuals and documentation
  • Support ongoing process improvements and system optimization initiatives


What You Bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive payroll experience; PCP designation required
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, payroll legislation, ESA, and U.S. state labor laws
  • Experience using UKG Pro and timekeeping platforms (Passport preferred)
  • Prior experience in unionized, manufacturing, agriculture, or similar complex environments
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with ERP systems (Epicor Kinetic a plus)
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage sensitive information with professionalism
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
