The Opportunity:

Our client in the SaaS tech industry is hiring for a Financial Systems & Budgeting Analyst for a 6-month remote contract, and we’re assisting them with the recruitment process. This role is ideal for a systems-savvy finance professional who enjoys optimizing workflows, driving process improvements, and building smart solutions with tools like Power BI, and Excel. What You’ll Be Doing:

In this role, you’ll join a lean but collaborative finance team to:

  • Support the implementation of a mid-sized ERP to automate financial data workflows and streamline reporting
  • Contribute to the annual budget planning cycle, partnering with departments such as Sales & Marketing, R&D, G&A, and COGS
  • Build and enhance dashboards in Power BI for executive-level reporting and decision-making
  • Assist with tax compliance, gathering data for third-party vendors
  • Review and improve Excel-based financial models, optimizing for accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial reports and systems


Deliverables Include:

  • Automated workflows in ERP to improve financial reporting
  • Executive-facing dashboards and visuals in Power BI
  • Budget templates and forecasting tools across business units
  • Organized datasets for tax compliance support
  • Streamlined Excel models and process documentation


What We’re Looking For:

  • 5 years of solid experience in finance, budgeting, and systems implementation
  • Proficiency with a mid-sized ERP system, Power BI, and advanced Excel
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions
  • Background in SaaS, tech, or software industries is a strong asset
  • Ability to work independently and juggle multiple deliverables in a dynamic setting
  • Experience with OneStream is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to work Pacific Standard Time zone hours
