We are seeking a Head of Accounting & Administration to lead financial operations, process improvements, and digital transformation for a rapidly growing, multi-location business. Reporting directly to the leadership team, this role will be instrumental in enhancing financial efficiency, streamlining administrative functions, and ensuring scalable growth. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about problem-solving, process optimization, and team development.

Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Oversee month-end close, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Ensure efficient processing of AP/AR transactions while optimizing cash flow management
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial statements, ASPE-compliant reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
- Process Improvement & Digital Efficiency: Identify opportunities to enhance accounting, HR, and IT systems for greater speed, accuracy, and scalability
- Audit & Controls: Manage external audit preparation, inventory audits, internal controls, and risk management initiatives
- Tax & Compliance: Oversee Canadian corporate tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance
Core Qualifications
- CPA designation required
- 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial leadership
- Strong expertise in full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and internal controls
- Experience working under ASPE and managing multi-location financial operations
- Proven track record in process improvement and digital transformation
- Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software
