About the Opportunity

Our public company client is seeking an experienced Manager, Corporate Accounting to join their finance team on a 6-month contract with a strong potential for extension.


This is a hands-on corporate accounting role supporting the organization’s month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate brings a solid accounting foundation, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has experience working within a large, public company.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead and review month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Controllership teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Support quarterly and year-end processes, including audit preparation and documentation.
  • Review and analyze balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee accounting for payroll-related expenses, bonuses, and commissions, ensuring proper recording and reporting.
  • Provide oversight and mentorship to junior team members as required.


What You'll Bring:

  • CPA designation (required).
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a public company environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of US GAAP or IFRS.
  • Experience in corporate accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SAP or other large ERP systems.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities within tight deadlines.
