Location: Missisauga, ON - Onsite, 5 days/week


The Opportunity:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Analyst to join a fast-paced finance team within a purpose-driven organization focused on environmental sustainability and operational excellence. This role plays a key part in maintaining accuracy and efficiency within the accounts payable function, while contributing to ongoing system and process improvements.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Process over 100 vendor invoices daily with a high degree of accuracy
  • Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledgers and analyze AP aging reports
  • Administer and reconcile corporate credit card transactions
  • Maintain and update the vendor master file, ensuring compliance with internal controls
  • Support the implementation and refinement of a three-way match purchasing process
  • Prepare and process payments in accordance with company policies and timelines
  • Identify and flag discrepancies, unusual charges, or variances for review
  • Assist in the month-end close process and contribute to continuous improvements in AP operations


What We Need From You

  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle AP, credit card administration, and expense reconciliation
  • Familiarity with AP sub-ledger reconciliations and AP aging report analysis
  • Experience supporting system implementations (especially Concur and Procure-to-Pay modules)
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables
  • Proven ability to maintain accuracy under pressure and apply a critical lens to transactional work
  • Experience working in organizations with $100M-$250M in revenue and 300+ employees
  • Knowledge of internal controls, payment compliance, and fraud prevention best practices
