About the Role

Our client, a private equity backed organization, is seeking a Manager, Investor Relations to join their high-profile Corporate Finance team. This is a standalone role with direct exposure to senior executives and external stakeholders, including board members and institutional investors.

You will act as the quarterback for investor reporting, ensuring accuracy, cohesion, and polish across board decks, investor presentations, and other critical deliverables. The successful candidate thrives under pressure, has excellent attention to detail, and can manage multiple overlapping deadlines with confidence.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the quarterly development of a 50–60 page board deck, consolidating inputs from multiple teams.
  • Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc investor reporting deliverables.
  • Coordinate and finalize materials for investor requests and due diligence questionnaires.
  • Create high-quality presentations, Excel-based summaries, and written responses.
  • Partner closely with executives to ensure accuracy, accountability, and alignment in all deliverables.
  • Maintain proactive communication across teams and senior leadership, ensuring no surprises and no missed deadlines.
  • Work flexibly outside of typical hours when required to support investor and executive needs.

What You'll Bring:

  • Background in investor relations, capital markets, equity research, investment banking, or accounting.
  • Strong technical proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Yardi is an asset.
  • Prior experience in a public company environment (e.g., TSX-listed, REITs, or financial institutions).
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to double/triple-check high-stakes deliverables.
  • Proven experience collaborating with senior executives and external stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience preparing investor communications and responding to DDQs.

Soft Skills & Intangibles:

  • Confident communicator, able to build relationships proactively and maintain trust with stakeholders.
  • Resilient and open to feedback — adaptable in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
  • Strong visual communication skills with an eye for professional, investor-ready presentations.
  • Thrives as a “glue person” who ensures deliverables are complete, polished, and on time.

Why Join?

This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible, standalone role supporting executives at a leading private equity. You’ll gain exposure to board- and investor-facing workstreams, while playing a key role in ensuring the organization delivers on its commitments to stakeholders.
