About the Opportunity

Our client is an established consumer packaged goods company with a well-known portfolio and close ties to a commercial organization spanning North America. As the business adds rigor to how it manages pricing, promotional spend, and sales performance, this role sits right at the center of that work.

This Senior Financial Analyst role offers direct, hands-on exposure to commercial finance and sales strategy. You'll partner closely with sales, marketing, and senior management — shaping pricing decisions, evaluating promotional ROI, and building the analysis that drives executive decision-making. It's a high-visibility seat for someone who wants to build a career at the intersection of finance and commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pricing strategy and reviews with sales and marketing, quantifying the financial impact of price and promotional changes
• Evaluate sales performance against volume and promotional spend targets, partnering with sales to identify risks and opportunities
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards and monthly business reviews for leadership across the organization
• Support the annual budget, forecast, and mid-year re-forecast process, including executive-facing presentations
• Provide financial analysis for new product development and ad hoc strategic requests

What You Bring

• University degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a financial or business analyst role
• Experience within CPG required; beverage alcohol experience a plus
• Advanced Excel skills, with strong analytical and forecasting ability
• Comfortable managing projects independently with minimal oversight
• Strong communicator, confident presenting analysis to senior and cross-functional stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience with MS Access or relational databases
• Exposure to a multi-country or cross-border commercial organization
• Background working directly with sales and marketing teams on pricing or promotional strategy
